It has nearly sunk in now!
Dan Ingham won the 2024 ManxGP (MGP) on the Castings Technology Motorsport Yamaha GYTR R6 and we had the chance to reacquaint ourselves with the HUGE Crookall Trophy again at the Manx Grand Prix Supporters Club Annual Dinner event on February 2nd 2025!
Dan’s brother, Jamie, also had a very successful season aboard his trusty Suzuki SV650 in the NG Road Racing Championship.
So how do we follow a season like that, bearing in mind that winning the MGP Senior Race, means you can no longer compete in the event (except in the classic classes)?
Well, the answer to that is as follows:
We increase the number of entries Jamie is able to make in the 2025 NG Road Racing Championship by providing a second Castings Technology Motorsport Yamaha R6, at the same time increasing our level of his sponsorship support for this season.
Daniel on the other hand elected not to make the jump to the TT Races in June, opting instead for two Northern Irish road races, including the North West 200 and Tandragee, plus a further two International events (through the International Road Racing Championship or IRRC).
The two Riders’ schedules are as follows. If you get a chance to attend any of the races, please stop by and say ‘hello’:
The Chairman and myself, on behalf the Board, would like to wish Dan and Jamie the very best of luck in their endeavours this year, which we are proud to support.
We also acknowledge the great contributions made by family, friends, and other sponsors who help to make this possible and thank them for the broad range of publicity the team has brought to the business prior to and during this year’s MGP, including television and radio coverage.
Being able to compete at this level of motorsport is both challenging and costly and like many up-and-coming riders, they rely heavily on sponsorship to allow them to participate.
We are really fortunate to have a number of other businesses helping us to support our racing effort, which comes in many forms, including discounts, free-of-charge parts, technical support, and helpful advice, all of which is invaluable.
These organisations are all at the top of their game, so please check out the links to them below!
If you are interested in supporting Team Castings Technology with (even modest) sponsorship, please get in touch with Carole Harris in the first instance ([email protected]).
