Castings Technology Motorsport changes-up a gear for 2026!
With the 2025 road and circuit racing seasons having ended, you could be forgiven for thinking that the team and its riders are taking a well-earned rest. Well, nothing could be further from the truth!
Dan Ingham
Following the team’s success at the 2024 Manx Grand Prix, where Dan realised his lifelong dream of winning the Senior Race, 2025 was a period of reflection and consolidation with appearances at the Northwest 200, Tandragee and two IRRC European rounds in Belgium and Germany, where he achieved impressive results amongst strong and experienced fields.
However, there was no ‘competitive’ visit to the Isle of Man. Having won the ManxGP, it is a long-standing tradition not to re-enter the competition; instead it is expected that you will transfer to the Isle of Man TT Races instead – same circuit, but a different level of competition. However, Daniel elected to take break from the island during 2025, although he did enjoy a few days of spectating at the ManxGP during August!
So, what have the team been doing since Dan’s last outing at Frohburg? Well, looking forward to 2026 as we plan to take on the mountain course again, but this time in June at the Isle of Man TT! We are working hard towards a very competitive package for Dan to enjoy his first full TT experience with exciting news to follow soon on this and the rest of our road race calendar!
Dan will also continue to campaign the Castings Technology Motorsport Aprilia RS660 twin throughout 2026.
Jamie Ingham
From Minitwins to mini twins….
Since our last update Jamie, and wife Laura are proud parents to beautiful twin girls; Ivy & Florence Ingham who were born on 8th August 2025, congratulations to you both!
You might recall from previous updates that we started sponsoring Dan’s brother, Jamie a couple of seasons ago – initially on his own Suzuki SV650 and with the addition of a Castings Technology-supplied Yamaha R6 for 2025. Jamie races in the NG Road Racing Championships (to avoid any confusion with his brothers’ focus on ‘road racing’, this championship is actually run on short circuits around the UK, as opposed to public roads), competing in the IMS National 600 (on the R6) and DCM Minitwins classes (on the SV).
Jamie’s 2025 championship schedule consisted of 23 rounds in total, with 3 rounds at every venue except Oulton Park, which has 2 rounds. Despite being unable to compete in rounds 4,5 & 6 (Snetterton), 16,17 & 18 (Donington Park) and 19 & 20 (Oulton Park) due to injury, he still managed a strong 9th overall in his first season in the National 600 class and a very impressive 3rd place in the Minitwins Championship.
Given how many rounds Jamie was forced to miss, it his clear that he has the potential to fight for both championships in future years (nappy-changes and sleepless nights permitting!).
On behalf of our Chairman, Kevin Parkin, myself, and the wider Board, would like to wish Dan and Jamie the very best of luck in their endeavours next year, which we are proud to support and thank them for the broad range of publicity the Team has brought to the business prior to and during this year’s racing efforts, including significant television, radio and printed media coverage.
We also acknowledge the great contributions made by family, friends and, importantly our sponsors who help to make this possible. Being able to compete at this level of motorsport is both challenging and costly and like many riders, Dan & Jamie rely heavily on sponsorship to allow them to participate.
We are really fortunate to have a number of other businesses helping us to support our racing effort, which comes in many forms, including discounts, free-of-charge parts, technical support, and helpful advice, all of which is invaluable, in particular, the hugely experienced Brent Gladwin of GR Motosport whose help in the past and more recently towards our 2026 campaign, has been both generous and transformational!
These organisations really are all at the top of their game, so please check out the links to them below!
